Soaring is a great sport and we want to make sure that you’ll have a great experience visiting Texas Soaring Association. If you would like to watch the gliders take-off and land, please remain within the white and blue fenced area around the clubhouse. If you would like to get an orientation flight, you must arrange the flight in advance with a TSA member. Orientation flights also require a temporary membership, which is available from TSA for those who would like to try the sport of soaring in our club atmosphere.

As part of your orientation, we would like to take the opportunity to show you around the airport, explain our safety procedures, and make sure all the paperwork is done for your temporary membership. If it is flying weather, we will set you up with an FAA licensed commercial pilot and get you flying.  An orientation flight cost is $60.00 and includes a SSA booklet and videotape.

We are a flying club, so when the weather is right, everybody’s flying! Be sure and plan ahead so you will have a great time visiting us. Here is a checklist:

2. Download the Temporary Member Application 
3. Fill out all the paperwork and make sure everything is signed by you and a guardian if you are under 18
